Domain Saved From 1 Million Spam Messages A MonthOne of the first domains to use Spamooze spam filtering was a high traffic domain receiving over 1,000,000 messages each month. It turned out that of those 1,000,000 messages 99.7% of them were spam leaving. Many addresses were receiving 10-20 messages of spam a day. Within a single day of running the spam filtering the amount of spam received by the users had dropped to near 0.
